EXIT SEQUENCE (PIT)
STEP
ACTION
1
Press the emergency stop (red button).

Turn the selector switch on the maintenance push-button panel to “automatic operation”.
3
Detach the ladder from its storage housing and place it ready to climb out of the pit.
4
Open the landing door to the pit by pulling the lock release cable on the door.
5
Climb out of the pit up to the entrance landing.
6
Put the ladder back into its storage housing.
7
Release the emergency stop (red button).
8
Close the landing door.
IMPORTANT!
When exiting the pit and/or the car roof, the maintenance technician is advised to ensure that no
equipment or tools have been left behind that can impair smooth operation of the lift or even
cause accidents.
ENTRY SEQUENCE (ROOF)

1
Walk up the building’s stairs to the floor where you have decided to access the car roof.

Open the landing door to the car roof with the emergency key.
3
The lift is out of service (floor call buttons are lit up).
4
Press the emergency stop (red button).
5
Climb onto the car roof.
6
Close the landing door.
7
Release the emergency stop (red button).

Turn the selector switch on the maintenance push-button panel to “maintenance operation”.

The maintenance technician can now use the buttons on the maintenance push-button panel to move the car up (by
pressing the enabling + up arrow buttons simultaneously) or down (by pressing the enabling + down arrow buttons
simultaneously) at speed (automatically selected as slow).
When stopping the movement, it is advisable to release the common blue button before the direction button so that
the lift stops more smoothly (highly recommended).

Stop the car with the roof surface level with the landing sill from where you want to exit at the end of the work
and/or inspections (in this case it may be the bottom floor at the pit).
