Close the landing door.

Turn the selector switch on the maintenance push-button panel to
“maintenance operation”.

The maintenance technician can now use the buttons on the maintenance
push-button panel to move the car up (by pressing the blue and white
buttons simultaneously) or down (by pressing the blue and black buttons
simultaneously) at speed (automatically selected as slow).
When stopping the movement, it is advisable to release the common blue
button before the direction button so that the lift stops more smoothly
(highly recommended).

Stop the car with the roof surface level with the landing sill from where
you want to exit at the end of the work and/or inspections (of course, it
may not be the bottom floor for entering the pit).
IMPORTANT!
Nevertheless, there are two safety stop contacts in the headroom; the first upwards one is active
when the lift is in maintenance operation and stops the car moving up when it reaches it.
This contact is positioned to anticipate the impact of the counterweight on the buffer.

Lower the EN81-21 safety rails folding them on the car roof and make sure
the latches are inserted into the safety contacts.
If there is more than one safety rail: lower the furthest one and continue
until the one nearest the door is lowered.

Open the landing door at the floor where you have decided to exit,
unlocking the lock manually.

Climb down from the roof and stand on the landing.

Release the emergency stop (red button).

Close the landing door.

IMPORTANT!
When exiting the pit and/or the car roof, the maintenance technician is advised to ensure that no
equipment or tools have been left behind that can impair smooth operation of the lift or even
cause accidents.
