Before you close the quick-
release, pull up on the
handlebar stem assembly to
check that the lock pin is
fully engaged. You should
not be able to pull the
handlebar stem assembly off
the steerer tube if the lock
pin is correctly engaged.
YOU MUST PERFORM
THIS TEST BEFORE
CLOSING THE QUICK-
RELEASE. IF THE
HANDLEBAR STEM
ASSEMBLY CAN BE
PULLED OFF THE
STEERER, DO NOT RIDE
THE GOCYCLE.
