What to do if my Graco GH 533 Paint Sprayer is spitting from the gun?
    • J
      Jennifer MeadowsAug 14, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer is spitting from the gun, it could be due to air in the fluid pump or hose. Check for loose connections on the siphon assembly, tighten them, and then reprime the pump. Alternatively, the fluid supply might be low or empty, so refill the supply container.

      Patrick LuceroAug 17, 2025

Why is the fluid delivery low on my Graco GH 533 Paint Sprayer?
    • R
      Robert WelchAug 21, 2025
If your Graco Paint Sprayer's fluid delivery is low, it could be due to several reasons. First, the pressure setting may be too low, so try increasing it. Also, check if the displacement pump outlet filter is dirty or clogged and clean it if necessary. In some cases, the hydraulic pump or motor might be worn or damaged, requiring you to return the sprayer for repair. Finally, a large pressure drop in the fluid hose could be the issue, which can be resolved by using a larger diameter hose.

Why is my Graco GH 533 Paint Sprayer's displacement pump not operating?
    • P
      Paige SalazarAug 26, 2025
If the gas engine operates, but the displacement pump doesn’t operate on your Graco Paint Sprayer, several issues could be the cause. The hydraulic motor might be stalled; try depressing the engine stop button. The pressure setting may be too low, so increase the pressure. If your sprayer has one, the displacement pump outlet filter could be dirty or clogged, so clean it. Also, the tip or tip filter might be clogged, so remove and clean them. Low hydraulic fluid could also be the problem; in that case, shut off the sprayer and add fluid immediately. In more serious cases, the hydraulic pump or motor might be worn or damaged, requiring you to return the sprayer for repair. Finally, the displacement pump rod could be seized by dried paint, so service the pump.
