Firmware Management
Figure 104.
The firmware used in the Trinix system consists of a collection of pro-
grams operating within the various PC boards. These programs are
identified either by a sub-level revision number from 1 to 255 or by a
date. Since these programs must be compatible with each other, they
are managed as a package with a top-level revision number.
The Firmware Management table displays the types of possible PC
boards, the version of sub-level software that is presently associated
with each type that is installed, the versions of top-level software pack-
ages present in the Broadlinx board, and the compatibility Status of
these software elements.
