7. Follow the instructions on your computer or tablet to register a new user account or to use an existing
one. The account enables you to use the scanner.
You can also create a new team. A team enables you to share the scanner with other team members. If you
want to join an existing team, ask someone from the team to add you. See instruction for Create a new team.
7.3 NETWORK SETTINGS
The scanner can be used either with wired or wireless Internet connection (either directly or via proxy) or with
direct WLAN connection between the scanner and the PC or tablet. Table 1 summarizes the features, which
are available for each connection method.

Your organization may not allow direct internet traffic from your network but is enabling internet browser use
through a proxy server instead. Connection to Internet via proxy can be configured in scanner Settings view.
