Step 4. Press the [MEAS OPEN] soft-key. A dialog
message, “Open-circuit the test terminals”, will
appear.
Step 5. Connect the test fixture to the BNC terminals.
Do not connect the DUT to the test fixture.
Step 6. Press the [OK] soft-key. The LCR-6000
measures the open admittances (capacitance
and conductance) at this frequency point.
During the measurement, an “OPEN
measurement in progress” dialog message will
be shown on the display.
When the measurement has finished,
“Correction finished”, will be displayed.
During the measurement, you can press the
[ABORT] soft-key to abort open correction.
To specify frequency points and perform short
correction
Step 1. Press the [MEAS SHORT] soft key, a
dialog message, “Short-circuit the test
terminals”, will be displayed.
Step 2. Connect the test fixture to the BNC terminals
and short-circuit the test terminals.
Step 3. Press the [OK] soft-key. The LCR-6000
measures the short impedances (inductances
and resistance) at this frequency point.
During the measurement, a “SHORT
measurement in progress” dialog message will
be shown on the display.
When the measurement has finished,
“Correction finished” is displayed on the
screen. During the measurement, you can press
the [ABORT] soft-key to abort short
correction.
