Installation guidelines
• The analyzer is supplied with a standpipe installation kit or a pressure regulator installation kit to
control the water pressure to the analyzer. The user selects the installation kit at the time of
purchase.
• Install the analyzer indoors in an environment with minimum vibration. Refer to the operating
temperature and humidity specifications in Specifications on page 3.
• Do not install the analyzer in direct sunlight or near a heat source.
• For standpipe installations, install the analyzer in a location with 61 cm (2 ft) of free space above
the analyzer for the standpipe mounting.
• Install the analyzer near an open drain. Refer to local regulatory agency instructions for disposal.
Step 1: Air purge (optional)
Air purge may be necessary if the analyzer is installed in a location with high humidity and/or fumes
that cause corrosion. The air purge keeps positive pressure in the instrument with dry and clean air.
Supply clean, dry instrument-quality air at 0.003 m
