Carrying out a reset
There are three different reset options in the smartbox. They are triggered directly on the smart-
box manually.
Reset Mode Trigger Consequences of the reset
Network reset Loss of the WLAN
access key
- Resetting of the network settings
- Activation of the local access
Other settings, project and user
proles remain unchanged.
User reset - Changing the installer
- Changing the administrator
- Changing an e-mail address
- Acquisition of rights by installer
- Resetting the project to the state
prior to the handover
Other settings, project and user
proles remain unchanged.
Reset to
factory settings
Complete restart of a project - Resetting of the smartbox to the
default state
- Removal of all settings, user
proles and the entire project
- Removal of the software updates
installed on the smartbox

Carry out a network reset
Keep RESET button (10) pressed for more than 5 seconds, until the RGB LED display (1) is
slowly ashing blue.
Release RESET button (10) briey and press once again to conrm the selection of the
reset mode.
Rapid blue ashing of the RCB LED display (1) conrms the successful reset.
