Function Description
The core of the Hägglunds CMp system is the S-Link Monitoring Unit (SLMU), which houses the active components. The SLMU is a robust, stainless steel enclosure containing a CCM module (a small Linux computer), an optional MMM module (an interface for external sensors), and a GPRS router for data transmission via the mobile network. The system collects sensor data through a serial connection from the Hägglunds Spider 2 control system, utilizing existing sensors connected to the control unit and system internal signals for evaluation. Additional sensors can be integrated via one or more MMM I/O modules. The collected sensor data package is then transferred to the ODIN database via a GPRS router or Ethernet for calculation and evaluation of system behavior.
