7 Installation
7.1 Unpacking
CAUTION
Danger from falling parts during unpacking!
Risk of injury and damage on components!
f Place the packaging on a at and solid surface.
f Only open the packaging from the top.
f Remove the packaging from the S-Link Monitoring Unit.
f Check the S-Link Monitoring Unit for transport damage and completeness.
f Dispose of the packaging according to the environmental regulations of
your country.
7.2 Mounting the S-Link Monitoring Unit
Depending on each order, different mounting alternatives may have been chosen.
Please consider your placement of the S- Link box before mounting, to allow good
cabling between the control unit and the S-Link Monitoring Unit.
