2.2 Prior to starting up
Read the operating instruc-
tions concerning the vehicle
provided in Chapter 1, ob-
served them and familiarize
yourself with the operating pro-
cedures.
1. Check the parking space for signs of
leaks. Hoses, lines and tanks must
show no signs of leaks or damage.
2. Check the battery charge status
(Fig. 3/1); charge the battery, if nec-
essary.
3. Check the hydraulic oil level in the
hydraulic tank (Fig. 3/2), refill if nec-
essary.
4. Check the adjustment of the driver's
seat (Fig. 3/3).
5. Check the steering wheel adjust-
ment, readjust with the lever
(Fig. 3/4), if necessary.
6. Lock the seat console (only with the
cab safety roof option), refer to Sec-
tion 5.4.1.
