Geng Started with Pro‑Stcher Lite
To move the quilng machine aer the soware has loaded
To move the quilng machine aer the soware has loaded, the motors should be disengaged. Press
the Motors buon in the upper‑right corner of the screen (Lock icon) to disengage the motors. Note
that the buon changes from a closed lock to an open lock.
To move the machine for free-moon quilng
Choose the Pro‑Stcher tab and then the Gears buon. The Gears icon is orange when the gears are
engaged. The Gears icon is purple with a line through it when the gears are disengaged. Pro‑Stcher
Lite automacally moves the carriage gears away from the Flexirack to disengage. Touch the Gears
buon to engage the gears and use Pro‑Stcher Lite for computerized quilng.
NOTE: When the gears are engaged, you can sll move the machine, but it will feel a bit s. If
you wish to free moon quilt, where you—not the Pro‑Stcher Lite—are moving the machine,
disengage the gears for smoother movement. The gears must be engaged for computerized quilng.
To use the USB ash drive
A USB ash drive is included with the Pro‑Stcher Lite and is preloaded with designs. These designs
have also been loaded to the drive on the tablet computer, so the USB ash drive is the backup copy
of the designs.
IMPORTANT: It is not necessary to power down Pro‑Stcher Lite to install or remove the USB ash
drive, but take care not to remove the ash drive while the system is saving to or loading from the
drive.
