Pro-Stcher Lite for the HQ Simply Sixteen Installaon Instrucons | 39
Troubleshoong
Problem/Symptom Correcve Measure
No display on the touchscreen monitor
The Pro‑Stcher Lite tablet computer is powered o.
Press the Power buon of the tablet to turn it on.
There is no power to the tablet computer. Ensure the
power cord to the Pro‑Stcher Lite is plugged in to
a powered outlet. Check the connecons of all the
power cords to the machine. If all cables are plugged in
properly, press the Power buon on the monitor.
The stch regulator cable is not connected properly
Pro‑Stcher Lite moves but does not stch. Check that all cables are securely aached.
Verify the Pro‑Stcher Lite tablet and the quilng
machine are communicang with each other. Choose
the Sengs tab, and then press the Advanced buon.
From the drop‑down menu, choose Communicaons.
On the sidebar to the right, choose Reconnect Machine.
If the two systems are communicang, pressing the
Pro‑Stcher tab and then the Full Stch or Half Stch
icons will result in the quilng machine’s needle
performing that funcon.
Pro‑Stcher Lite stches, but the stch lengths
vary, and the quilng machine slows down or
even stops in some direcons.
The problem can be narrowed to a specic encoder
wheel by running the quilng machine manually.
Start the quilng machine from the handlebars in
Stch Regulated mode, and only move the machine le
and right. Then try only moving front and back. If the
quilng machine stops stching while moving front and
back, then the problem is with the encoder mounted
to the back of the machine. If it stops stching while
moving le and right, then the problem is with the
encoder on the carriage. Make sure the encoder wheels
roll on the tracks when moving the quilng machine
and that the stch regulator cable is plugged in securely
to the encoders.
