④ Install the new filter assembly.
⑤ Turn the new filter until the gasket is
attached to the sealing surface.
⑥ Tighten it by 2/3 of a turn.
6. Change the steering axle gear oil of 4WD
rough terrain forklifts (the first change is
required after the 50h breaking-in period for
new vehicles)
Park the forklift on horizontal ground. Put it in
the neutral and turn off the engine.
① Remove the oil drain plug and drain the oil
into a container. Clean the oil drain plug.
② Install the oil drain plug.
③ Remove the oil filling port plug on the main
reducer first, then remove the plugs of the oil
filling ports at the left and right wheel hubs,
and move the oil filling ports at the left and
right wheel hubs to a horizontal position.
④ Adding oil at the gear end: add the gear oil
slowly from the wheel hub filling port, then
stop filling when the oil starts to overflow from
the filling port, repeat the above process after
10 minutes and another 10 minutes, the whole
process should be performed three times in
total.
⑤ Slowly fill the gear oil from the oil filling
port on the main reducer and stop filling when
oil starts to overflow from the filling port.
7. Change the drive axle gear oil (the first
change is required after the 100h breaking-in
period for new vehicles)
Park the forklift on horizontal ground. Engage
neutral and turn off the engine.
① Remove the oil drain plug and drain the oil
into a container. Clean the oil drain plug.
② Install the oil drain plug.
③ Remove the air vent plug and oil level plug.
Add oil into the drive axle housing from the
curved plug seat hole until the oil overflows
from the horizontal plug hole. See the "Refilling
Amount".
④ Install the horizontal plug and curved plug
holder.
⑤ Start the forklift truck. Let the engine idle
and put the direction control handle into the
neutral position.
⑥ Remove the horizontal plug. Maintain the
oil level until the oil overflows.
