3. Every one and a half months
maintenance (250 hours)
Add the following maintenance items in
addition to the weekly maintenance.
1. Replace the engine oil and oil filter (the first
100h and then every 250 hours thereafter.)
① Start the engine, warm it up fully, and
then turn it off.
② Remove the oil filler cap and oil pan
drain plug and drain the engine oil.
Warning
Be careful not to scald yourself as the
engine oil may be hot.
· Emulsified oil indicates that coolant has
mixed with the oil and the cause should be
found and corrected.
· Thin oil indicates that the oil contains
gasoline.
③ Wipe clean and install the drain plug and
gasket. Tightening torque of oil drain plug:
29 N·m - 39 N·m
④ Remove the oil filter with a suitable tool.
⑤ Wipe the oil filter mounting surface with
a clean cloth.
⑥ Apply a small amount of oil to the rubber
ring of the new oil filter.
⑦ Install the new oil filter by hand only, do
not use a wrench to tighten it.
⑧ Refer to the Forklift Oil List and fill with
the recommended oil.
⑨ Start the engine and check if there is any
oil leakage in the area around the oil drain
plug and oil filter.
If there is any visible leakage, it indicates
that the part is not properly installed.
⑩ Warm up the engine sufficiently, then
shut it down for a while to check the oil level.
Add more engine oil if necessary.
When checking the oil level, the forklift
should be parked on level ground.
Warning:
When using a different brand of engine
oil, be sure to drain all previous engine
oil before adding new oil.
On DPF equipped engines, some of the
fuel may mix with the engine oil during
the regen process. This may dilute the
engine oil and increase the oil level. If
the engine oil level is above the upper
limit of the oil level gauge, it means that
the oil is being diluted too much, which
may cause engine damage. In this case,
please change the engine oil
immediately with new oil.
If the DPF regen interval reduces to 5
hours or less, be sure to change the
engine oil.
2. Apply lubricating grease on the front and
rear pins of the tilt cylinder.
Wipe the filling point clean and then squeeze
out the old oil.
3. Check the gear oil of the drive axle housing
and add more if necessary.
If the working environment is dusty, it is
recommended that after the truck has been
operated for 200 hours, the gear oil in the drive
axle housing should be changed for the first
time.
