IOM-RAC2 Module
No more than one IOM-RAC2 can be installed in a chassis. All audio services will be routed
through it.
When an IOM-RAC2 is installed in a chassis, all provisioned audio streams will be routed and
processed by the IOM-RAC2.
AHC-561
n AES3 digital audio inputs;4×BNC(AES3id/SMPTE 276M).
n Completely embedded audio extraction of eight pairs from four groups from the serial
digital video input (48 kHz synchronous to video only).
n Transcode AC-3 to E-AC-3 (one multi channel or two stereo).

n One multi channel and one stereo pair for each AHC-561 mounted.

n Transcoding of Dolby E to AC-3 or E-AC-3 5.1 with backup from PCM, plus
simultaneous stereo.
n Transcoding of AC-3 into E-AC-3.
