Remote Control Panel
Purpose: The remote control panel is an identical mirror of what is displayed on the chiller’s built-in
controller. This allows the user to see the status and details of the chiller without going outdoors.
Location: The control panel is shipped inside the chiller near the pumps. The provided cable is also
inside the chiller.
Installation: Mount the remote control panel on a wall indoors. See the templates on the next page.
Standard cable length: Standard chillers include a 150 ft (45.7 m) cable to connect this remote
control panel with the outdoor chiller. Use the RJ12 plug provided on the cable to connect the remote
control panel to the outdoor chiller.
Non-standard cable length: Optionally, some chillers may include a cable longer than 150 ft (45.7 m).
In this case, the remote control panel is mounted on an electrical box. Connect the three wires on
the cable to #2 (GND), #3 (TX -), and #4 (RX +) inside the box. Use the provided power cord and
plug to connect the box to 115V electrical from a wall outlet.
Cable rating: The cable provided by Haskris is CMX rated.
