Installing the crash bar
The crash bar (Fig. 105/1) is secured with three
screws on A.S. and three screws on O.S.
(Fig. 105/2).
12. Place the crash bar onto the feed table.
13. Tighten the three screws underneath the crash
bar on D.S.
14. Tighten the three screws underneath the crash
bar on O.S.

Caution - press damage and sheet
travel malfunctions
Prior to press start-up you must ensure
that the segments of the tape driving
roller have been secured. Ensure that
the crash bar is screwed to the feed
table. Ensure that the sheet guide plate
is aligned towards O.S. as far as pos-
sible. The alignment is OK if you can in-
sert a sheet of paper between the suc-
tion tape module and the sheet guide
plate.
