10 Ionizing unit
10.1 Function
The ionizing unit is a special accessory. It eliminates
electrostatic charges on the printing material.
The ionizing unit consists of:
D two ion blowers on the suction head,
D one ionizer in the delivery
D and, as an option, one or two additional ion-
izer(s) in the feeder.
10.2 Switching on
1. Switch on the ion blower on the delivery display.
The ion blowers become active
D after sheet travel has been switched on.
D after production has been switched on.
