Refer to the safety precautions on (page-29)
• Do not remove the spark plug and test for
spark on the motorcycle by cranking the
engine as this could lead to fire or
explosion

Clean any dirt around the spark plug base.
4. Make sure that the spark plug gap is
0.8 - 0.9 mm using a wire-type feeler
gauge. if adjustment is necessary bend
the side electrode carefully. Make sure
the plug washer is in good condition.
6. Tighten a new spark-plug 1/2 turn with
a spark plug wrench to compress the
washer. If you are reusing a plug, it
should only take 1/8 - 1/4 turn after the
plug seats.
5. With the plug washer attached, thread
the spark plug in by hand to prevent
cross-threading.
(1) Noise suppressor cap (2) Spark plug
Disconnect the noise suppressor cap (1)
and remove the spark plug (2) with the
help of spark plug wrench provided in
the tool bag.
