• Install a dummy spark plug in the
cylinder head and test for spark.
• Never use a spark plug with improper
heat range.
• Always use resistor type spark plug.
Remove the seat (page-16).
Remove the side cover (1) by removing
side cover screws (2).

Pull out the air cleaner assembly (5) by
separating the mounting clamp (6)
from the holder.
AIR CLEANER
Refer to the safety precaution on (page 29).
The air cleaner element is of dry paper
pleated type it should be serviced at regular
intervals (page 30). When riding in dusty areas,
more frequent service may be necessary.
