3. Click the Set button next to Host/Others to enter the Host/Others menu.
4. Set Multicast IP, as shown in Figure 10. When adding a device to the Network Video Surveillance
software, the multicast address must be the same as the DVR’s multicast IP.

5. Click OK to save and exit menu.
Configuring MTU
MTU is the abbreviation of Maximum Transmission Unit. Unit is represented by bytes.
To change MTU:
1. Enter the Network Settings menu by clicking Menu > Setting > Network.
2. Select the Advanced tab.
3. Click the Set button next to Host/Others to enter the Host/Others menu.
4. Enter new MTU for this device, as shown in Figure 11.

Note: The virtual value of MTU is from 500 to 9676.
