Never apply voltage to the test leads. Doing so may
damage the instrument and result in personal injury.
To avoid electrical accidents, remove power from
the circuit before measuring.
When a test lead is connected to terminal A, an
alarm sounds if the function switch is set to a func-
tion other than mA or A. For safety, if the alarm
sounds, immediately remove the test lead from the
object being tested.
Note that the instrument may be damaged if voltage or
current the measurement range.
When the power is turned off, do not apply voltage or
current to the measurement terminal. Doing so may
damage the instrument.
