Connect the Z1006 AC Adapter to the instrument and plug it into an outlet as follows:

Turn off the power switch.

Connect the power cord to the inlet on the AC adapter.

Connect the AC adapter’s output
plug to the instrument.
Once the output plug is connected, route
the cord underneath the hook (to keep it
from being pulled out).

Connect the power cord’s input plug to an outlet.
