Item Description
Server Blade Shows the number of a server blade.
The following icons show a server blade in SMP configuration.
: Primary server blade
: Non-primary server blade
Total version Shows the total firmware version, consisting of BMC and EFI, for the
server blade.
BMC Shows the BMC version
EFI Shows the EFI version.
LP (Current) Shows the LPAR manager firmware version and the bank currently
assigned to the server blade.
LP (Next) Shows the LPAR manager firmware version and the bank that will be used
for the next LPAR manager boot. A value in parentheses, a value for a
non-primary server blade, cannot be used for operation even though it is
set.

Assign LP

Server Blade
Changes versions of the LPAR manager firmware to be assigned to the
server blade.
Update Server
Blade firmware
Updates the server blade firmware. When a dialog box appears, select
server blade firmware and update it. Multiple server blade firmware
versions can be selected to update at a time.
In SMP configuration, select the primary server blade to update
firmware, which updates the firmware on all server blades in the
configuration simultaneously. You need not to select non-primary
server blades.
