Using the BECK tool
The Backend Conguration Kit (BECK) tool is a graphical application for checking the
cabling paths between controllers and drive trays. The BECK tool is available as a
download from Hitachi.
System requirements
To use the BECK tool, verify the following system requirements.

Available disk space 5 MB or more for installation.
At least 100 MB if the simple trace
function will be used.
Memory 1 GB or more is recommended.
We recommend you close memory-
intensive programs before using the BECK
tool.
