Appendix D: Data and power cables
The storage system supports a variety of data and power cables for specic hosting
environments.
Required cables
The quantities and lengths of the cables required for storage system installation vary
according to the specic storage system and network conguration. Fibre Channel and
iSCSI cables are used to connect the controllers to a switch or host. Serial-attached SCSI
(SAS) cables are used to connect drive trays to controllers and other drive trays.
