10 CT40/CT40 XP Mobile Computer Series User Guide
Remove the battery:
1. Depending on the model type either power Off the computer or place it in
battery swap mode. See Before Attempting to Remove the Battery on page 9.
2. Release the hand strap.
3. Unlock the battery.
• For the model CT40-xxx-xxxxx0x, press and hold down the small button on
the battery latch, and then slide the latch toward the right side of the
computer to unlock the battery.
• For all CT40 XP models and CT40-LON-xxxxxAx, CT40-xxx-xxxxxBx, and
CT40-xxx-xxxxxHx models, press and hold down the small button on the
battery latch, and then slide the latch toward the right side of the computer.
The battery will pop-up slightly on the edge when latch is released.
