Crushandimpacthazardposedbycomponentsfallingortopplingoveraccidentally.
Whenworkingwithheavycomponentsthathavebeenremovedorareyettobeinstalled,
injurymayresultifthecomponentsstartmovinginanuncontrolledmanner,e.g.,fall down
fromtheworkingsurfaceortoppleover.
  Placeremovedcomponentsexclusivelyonlevel,horizontalworkingsurfaceswithenough
load‐bearingcapacity.
  Ifnecessary,secureremovedcomponentssothattheywillnotfallortoppleover.
  Weartherequiredpersonalprotectiveequipment.
  Exercisecautionwhenperformingtherelevanttasks.
Riskofinjuryduetoimproperlifting
Whenliftingandhandlingdevicecomponents,theweightofthecomponentsandassem‐
bliescanresultininjury,especiallyinthetorsoarea.
  Makesuretoalwayshaveenoughpeopleliftingheavydevicecomponents(guideline
usingmetricunits:15‐max.55kg/guidelineusingimperialunits:30‐max.120lbs,de‐
pendingonageandgender).Complywithalltheoccupationalhealthandsafetyregula‐
tionsandinstructionsthatapplyattheinstallationlocation!
  Usesuitablehoistingequipmentandslingsinordertohandleheavydevicecomponents.
Makesuretotakeintoaccountthedevicecomponents’centerofgravityandtoattach
theslingsonlytothesecuredevicecomponentlocationsintendedforthispurpose.
  Weartherequiredpersonalprotectiveequipment.
Makesurethatthefollowingrequirementsaremet:
  Thesystemisdepressurized;seePreparingformaintenance(seepage44).
WARNING!Mortaldangerassociatedwithpressurizedcomponents.
Observethefollowingcleaninginstructions:
  Beforeassembly,allpartsmustbecleanedinordertoremoveanyforeignparticles
(swarf)andsoiling.
  Ifscrews,bolts,orwashersarereplacedwithidenticalnewparts,anyoilonthesenew
partsmustfirstberemoved.
