You cannot change the e7w displayed target temperature, Fan Speed or HVAC Mode and a
warning triangle symbol is displayed
Possible Reasons:
The e7w has been placed into “Contractor” mode. When the e7w has been placed into Contractor mode , it
locks its target temperature to a defined value and locks out the e7w buttons. This is feature is intended to
be used during the hotel construction phase to set the room to a defined target temperature and prevent
tampering.
To exit the e7w out of Contractor mode:
1. Enter SERVICE MODE
2. Press UP/DOWN arrow buttons to select Ctr “- -“
3. Press MODE button. This action displays “-“ and Value.
4. Press FAN button to turn off CONTRACTOR MODE. After turning off CONTRACTOR MODE e7w play beep
sound.
5. Press the FC button twice to exit SERVICE MODE
The alert icon should clear
