Miscellaneous Bar Code Reader Options
This section contains miscellaneous bar code engine programming codes.
Prefix / Suffix Values
A prefix and/or one or two suffixes can be appended to scan data for use in data editing. To set a value for a prefix or suffix,
scan a prefix or suffix bar code below, then scan a four-digit number (i.e., four bar codes from Imager Keypad Number
Symbols (page 13-84) that corresponds to that value).
See the "ASCII Value" column in ASCII Character Equivalents (page 13-86) for the four-digit codes. To correct an error or
change a selection, scan Cancel on the Imager Keypad Number Symbols page.
Default =
• SSI Prefix Value = <CR>
• SSI Suffix 1 Value = <CR>
• SSI Suffix 2 Value = <CR>
