How to fix a Honeywell MeshGuard FTD-2000 that cannot turn on?
    • B
      Brittany Patrick MDAug 2, 2025
If your Honeywell Monitor isn't turning on, the battery charge might be too low, so replace it. If the battery has just been changed, wait at least 60 seconds before attempting to turn on the MeshGuard. For information on batteries, check the RAE Systems web site.

What to do if Honeywell MeshGuard FTD-2000 shows no Antenna Icon?
    • C
      Christopher BrownAug 8, 2025
If your Honeywell Monitor displays no antenna icon, it could be due to several reasons. Check if there is a working controller or reader nearby and move the MeshGuard closer. If the controller or reader’s network has changed, perform the network searching function in diagnostic mode. If the MeshGuard is out of its RF range, move it closer to a working controller or reader and press [Y/+]. Finally, ensure the battery is not low, and replace it if needed.

What to do if my Honeywell MeshGuard FTD-2000 Monitor controller cannot receive the MeshGuard’s signal?
    • M
      Mark LeeAug 13, 2025
If the controller isn't receiving the MeshGuard signal, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the distance between the MeshGuard and the controller is within 300 meters with a clear line of sight. Obstructions might be interfering, so consider deploying an RTR MeshGuard or MeshGuard Router. Also, relocating the MeshGuard may help the controller receive the complete data packet. Check the battery level and replace if low. Finally, verify that the MeshGuard and controller share the same Pan ID number and adjust if necessary.

Why is my Honeywell MeshGuard FTD-2000 Monitor giving an abnormally high reading?
    • A
      Anthony CooleyAug 17, 2025
An abnormally high reading on your Honeywell Monitor could be due to a couple of reasons. First, the gas calibration might be incorrect, so recalibrate the device. Alternatively, the sensor may have low sensitivity to the calibration gas, in which case you should replace the sensor.

What to do if my Honeywell Monitor shows a “?0” Alarm?
    • P
      parkerjackAug 23, 2025
If your Honeywell Monitor is displaying a “?0” Alarm, this may be due to sensor zero drift. Perform a zero calibration to resolve this issue.
