Uploading firmware to the instrument from a PC
Uploading new firmware to your instrument requires connecting the instrument and PC. Follow
these steps to make the connection:
1. Connect the data cable to the PC and the Charging cradle.
2. Place the instrument into its Charging cradle. The charging LED should be illuminated.
3. Use the N/- key to scroll to the “Enter PC Comm and Stop measurement” screen.
4. Select Yes with Y/+ key.
5. Click on the connected device’s serial number
6. Click “UPDATE.”
7. Select “Proceed.”
8. When the instrument powers OFF, the upload is complete.
NOTE: If connected to the Internet, Safety Suite DC or Safety Suite DM provides the latest
firmware automatically. If not connected to the internet, click on Update and manually add the
latest firmware from Honeywell’s website. - sps.honeywell.com/us/en/software
