Entering sensor numbers for FGS
If the seed hoses of the tram line tracks are
equipped with seed 󰘱ow sensors, these must be
removed from monitoring if tram line is switched.
The input possibility for this appears as soon
as the seed 󰘱ow monitoring in the machine
con󰘰guration is switched on.
Use the + / - keys to select the tram line left and
the tram line right and enter the numbers of the
seed 󰘱ow sensors.
Ten seed 󰘱ow sensors, which are not to be
monitored when the tram line is switched, can
be entered for each bout.
If, with a tram line switched on, seed or fertiliser
drops through the hose because of a defective
or not closed valve, the sensor will detect this
and report it as a fault "Seed 󰘱ow in xx".
Seed ow monitoring
The system consists of a seed 󰘱ow module, the
sensors in the seed lines and the wiring.
The monitoring system may also be installed
later.
The module is connected to the Y-cable of the
computer. Up to 120 sensors can be installed
in the seed lines.
The seed flow monitoring system submits
an alarm in case of blocked seed hoses and
quantity changes, but also if seed or fertiliser
drops through when a bout is switched.
The seed 󰘱ow system must be switched on in
the machine con󰘰guration and the number of
sensors entered before starting.
The number of seed flow sensors must be
entered in the menu of trams line rhythms.
Monitoring becomes active as soon as the
sensitivity is set to 1 or higher.
