5. Insert the knife holder into the head clamp and push it all the way down (1).
6. Tighten the clamp screw (2).
WARNING! Take care not to cut yourself.
After installing a new knife, you should set the knife oset (see below) and recalibrate the OPOS sensor (see
Calibrate the OPOS sensor on page 48).
Change the drag knife oset
The oset is the distance between the center of the knife and its tip. The oset should be set whenever the knife
is changed, and should be checked if the knife shows signs of wear.
Typical osets
0.41–0.45 for standard knives
0.49–0.52 for the 60 degree knife
0.90–0.97 for sandblast knives
NOTE: A sandblast knife should be used when the substrate is thicker than 0.25 mm (0.01 in).
Change the oset
1. Turn on the cutter, load substrate, and mount the tool.

Press .

Press or to scroll through the menu until you reach Knife oset. Press . The current oset
appears on the screen.
4.
Press or to change the oset.
Press to perform the internal knife oset test.
Press to conrm the chosen oset.
Press to leave the oset unchanged.
When the oset is correct, the test pattern looks like this:
