until the remaining ∆Time is approximately 0. You
will need to move the control slowly as it takes a short amount of time
for the waveform to settle.
Deskewing Differential Cables
The next thing that must be done before you can measure differential
impedance is to deskew the TDR step generators to the end of the cables. The
following steps describe the deskewing process.
1 Connect an SMA cable to the TDR plug-in channel 1.
2 Connect an SMA cable to the TDR plug-in channel 2.
3 Press the
SETUP Time base key.
