Privacy board
NOTE: The privacy board spare part kit does not include the cable. The privacy board cable is available using
spare part number L53278-001.

Before removing the privacy board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 26).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover and rubber feet on page 27).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 30).
Remove the privacy board:
1. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the board (1).
2. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 3.5 screw (2) that secures the board to the computer.
3. Lift the board out of the computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the privacy board.
