HP HP-18C - Alarms; Viewing and Setting an Alarm

Alarms
The HP-18C has six alarms . To set an alarm, you store the date and
time that you want the alarm to go off, plus an optional message. You
can also designate repeating alarms-alarms that go off at regular in-
tervals.
Viewing and Setting an Alarm
To set an alarm or view the current setting of an alarm, starting from
the MAIN menu:
1. Press "' , then 1'i1iIiII . The APPT menu contains a menu label
for each
of the six alarms .

Pending alarms are those set to some future time . Past due alarms
are those that went off and have not been acknowledged . All
other alarms are expired; they were acknowledged when they
went off sometime in the past, or they have been cleared.
2. Press a menu keY- 1ilDII through 1'i1iJiIm . The display shows
the current setting for that alarm and the alarm-setting menu
described in table 8-2.
