Introduction
The HP-18C can create a printed copy of most of its operations and
stored information using the printer designed to accept the infra-red
signal generated by the printer port . This chapter describes the types
of
printing the HP-18C can do . Operation of the printer is covered in
the printer owner's documentation.

The HP-18C automatically sends out information at a rate required by
the printer . If a printing operation involves printing many lines of in-
formation, the calculator automatically slows its transmission of
information to allow the printer to catch up .
