Blue LED changes state when an ID command is received
Off indicates expander power is off
Expander A ID
Solid green indicates the expander is running and system
status is healthy
Blinking amber indicates a degraded state, such as a fan
failure or PSU failure
Solid amber indicates the system is over temperature
Off indicates power is off
Expander health status
Blue LED changes state when an ID command is received
Off indicates expander power is off
Expander B ID
Solid green indicates the shelf is powered on
Amber indicates the shelf is powered off

The following shows the drive and LED indicator lights and describes their functions.

Each drive carrier has two LEDs. The following table describes the LEDs.

Amber indicates that the drive has failed or been removed
LED off indicates normal drive operation
Drive fault (bottom left)
Solid green indicates that the drive is online and ready
Blinking green twice per second indicates that the drive is being initialized
Blinking green five times per second indicates read/write activity on the drive
