3. Use the suction cups to carefully separate (1) the front left corner of the display panel from the display
back cover.
4. Detach the suction cups from the display panel and the display back cover.
5. Insert a case utility tool (2) or a similar thin plastic tool between the display panel and the display
back cover.
6. Use the case utility tool to separate the bottom edge (3) of the display panel from the display back cover.
7. Use the case utility tool to separate the left and right edges (4) of the display panel from the display
back cover.
8. Swing the top edge of the display panel (1) up and forward until it rests upside down in front of
the computer.
9. Release the security bar (2) on the display EDP cable, and then disconnect the display EDP cable (3) from
the transfer board.
10. Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (4) to which the transfer board cable is connected, and
then disconnect the transfer board cable from the transfer board.
11. Remove the two Phillips M2.0×1.8 broad head screws (5) that secure the touch control board to
the display panel.
12. Remove the display panel (6) and touch control board.
