Bottom cover
To remove the bottom cover, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the bottom cover, prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly
on page 37).
Remove the bottom cover:
1. Close the computer and position it upside down with the front toward you.
2. Remove the rear rubber foot strip (1).
The rear rubber foot strip is available using the following spare part numbers:
M22169-001: In natural silver nish
M22168-001: In nightfall black nish
M22170-001: In Poseidon blue nish
3. Remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 6.9 screws (2) and the two Torx5 M2.0 × 3.9 screws (3) that secure the
bottom cover to the top cover.
