2. Remove the infrared sensor board (2).
Reverse this procedure to install the infrared sensor board.
Infrared sensor board cable
To remove the infrared sensor board cable, use this procedure and illustration.
The infrared sensor board cable is available using spare part number M22151-001.
Before removing the infrared sensor board cable, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 37).
2. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 37), and then remove the following components:
1. Battery (see Battery on page 38)
2. System board (see System board on page 46)
3. Infrared sensor board (see Infrared sensor board on page 53)
Remove the infrared sensor board cable:
1. Turn the infrared sensor board right side up with the cable away from you.
2. Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the infrared sensor board cable is connected, and then disconnect
the infrared sensor board cable from the infrared sensor board.
