3. Detach the touchpad cable (3) from the top cover and touchpad. (The touchpad cable is attached to the top
cover and touchpad with double-sided adhesive at two locations.)
4. Remove the touchpad cable.
Reverse this procedure to install the touchpad cable.

1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 37).
2. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 37).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 38).
