1. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 1.8 broad head screw (1) that secures the connector board to the top cover.
2. Remove the connector board (2) and cable.
Reverse this procedure to install the connector board.
Rear speakers
To remove the rear speakers, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the rear speakers, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 37).
2. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 37).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 38).
4. Remove the system board (see System board on page 46).
Remove the rear speakers:
1. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screws (1) that secure the rear speakers to the top cover.
