1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 37).
2. Remove the bottom cover (Bottom cover on page 37).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 38).
4. Remove the system board (see System board on page 46).
Remove the keyboard:
1. Remove the 20 Phillips 1.0 × 1.0 screws that secure the keyboard to the top cover.
NOTE: The keyboard screws are available in the Keyboard Screw Kit, spare part number M22191-001.
2. Lift the rear edge of the keyboard (1) until it separates from the top cover.
