will be updated once the problem has been
corrected but until then do not use Library and
Tape Tools to diagnose issues with this
product. This problem only relates to the
Q1546A product, no other DAT 40 variants are
affected.

Stuck tape issue
Try in the following order:
1. Manually press the Eject button
.
2. Perform a Forced Eject
.
3. Power cycle the drive
.
4. Check for conflicts in backup software services
.
5. Check SCSI/HBA/Driver configuration of the drive
.
6. Check the software has not sent a prevent media removal command
.
7. Run Library and Tape Tools device analysis test
.
8. Upgrade to the latest firmware
.
