Installing the LAN Hub
An eight-port LAN hub is included in the PTM Upgrade Kit. It comes pre-assembled in its own
bracket for installation at the side of a rack enclosure. The LAN hub is used to connect each
installed library to a WAN via the 10-BaseT connector on the library controller board for
coordinating PTM operation and communication.
To install the LAN hub:
1. Install cage nuts/clip nuts as indicated in Figure 1 through Figure 4.
2. Carefully install the LAN hub bracket.
