StoreVirtual 3200 Storage system results in the enclosure
status as unknown
Symptom
Installing a 3PAR StoreServ disk enclosure into a StoreVirtual 3200 Storage system results in the enclosure
status reporting unknown in the SVMC and via REST.
Cause

Action
Procedure
1. Shut down the storage system and remove the 3PAR StoreServ disk enclosure.
An iSCSI volume that becomes unavailable for
approximately 60 seconds or less may cause data
unavailability
Symptom
If a Windows host that is configured with iSCSI on all available adapters experiences short multiple
disconnections on different adapters, it loses the paths to the disks. The lengths of these short disconnections
are less than one minute down and less than or equal to two minutes up.
